The Coldsmoke Awards is a one night only live show in Bozeman, Montana. Filmmakers, MC’s, athletes, and presenters coalesce on the Coldsmoke stage bringing our audience the very best winter film has to offer. Similar to the Academy Awards in format, this wild and zany awards ceremony celebrates imagery and talent with a vibe only the winter mountain culture can create. Live music, libations, and festive mountain attire make this a true finale to the Coldsmoke’s line of events, and has proven to be one of the best gatherings Bozeman, Montana has to offer. Along with fostering new talent and innovation, The Coldsmoke Awards prides itself on strengthening the winter community through contributions to non-profit organizations dedicated to investing in the future of mountain society.
Although winter is the common thread, we strive to bring a broad spectrum of diversity from all over the world to our screens in the form of innovation on and off the mountain. While “ski porn” will always hold a beloved seat at the CSA, our team continues to search for films that reach out to the heart, soul and spirit inherent with the authentic winter culture.
