AINU RAIN COAT

Try on at home
For protection from mountain squall to bus stop curb splash, the Aniu Raincoat delivers with three layers of eVent waterproof breathable twill. Whereas most raincoats feel like wearable tent-flys, the Aniu raincoat is built to become one with you so that you can become one with your environment. Oneness inducing features include articulated elbow construction for ease of movement, adjustable sleeve cuffs and hood, sealed seams for 100% waterproof protections, YKK aquaguard waterproof zippers, snap button pocket flaps, and a wide front wind flap.

INRSPITATION

THE AINU

We named our Ainu raincoat in honor of the indigenous peoples who inhabit the rugged north pacific islands of Kamtchatka and Hokkaido. The Ainu are known for the burly visage of their men who stop cutting their beards and hair once they hit the prime of their manhood, and Ainuu women are renowned for their ability to craft beautiful weather repelling clothing spun from the inner bark of the elm tree and fashioned from the skins of deer and salmon.
